    The NCG Dublin Summer School

    Learning in Ireland –

    Ireland is considered a true cultural hub, brimming with interesting customs and traditions – a place heavily influenced by Anglo-Norman, English and Scottish cultures. Rich with literary tradition, music, arts, sports, folklore and cuisine.

    Some of the most famous literary figures in the world called Ireland home – including Nobel Prize winning laureates like Samuel Beckett, George Bernard Shaw and W.B. Yeats, who were all born in Dublin. Making the city the birthplace of more Nobel literary laureates than any other city in the world.

    The city of Dublin boasts breathtaking heritage sites, like the Trinity College library and iconic landmarks such as the Ha’penny Bridge – one of the most photographed sights in the city.

     

    Welcome to St. Benildus College

    You’ll be learning English against the backdrop and culture of Ireland – with our Dublin Summer School at St. Benildus College – located in Dún Laoghaire, a picturesque seaside town close to the city centre.

    The school programme will combine learning English with many interesting Irish cultural activities. As well as your English lessons from monday to friday – You’ll also have a varied schedule of enriching activities and events, that we’ve organised just for you.

    Including – exciting tours of the city centre, along with visits to the likes of Bray Town and the Botanic Gardens. You’ll have the opportunity to take part in a traditional Irish Sports Day, and have fun at music festivals and discos.

    As well as enthralling excursions to Malahide castle and Kilkenny City, you’ll also have free evenings – allowing you can take in the sites and sounds of the city at your own pace or just relax and take it easy.

    There are even more sites to see, like the National Wax Museum, the Dublin Zoo and the Leprechaun Museum – optional trips are available for all of these and more.  

     

    Fully equipped and ready for you

    You’ll enjoy an extensive Irish experience from 1st July to 29th July 2018 – whilst staying with a local host with a full board meal plan. All ages from 11 to 17 will be welcomed at the summer school.

    Our Dublin school boasts a beautiful interior along with all the high quality facilities you could ask for.

    Including classrooms fully stocked with AV equipment, projectors and laptops, a sports hall, basketball courts and outdoor football pitches, as well as extensive green space.
