Our NCG Summer Schools

At NCG, we pride ourselves on being a specialist college that’s dedicated to delivering the very best English Language courses.

We want to make sure that you have the most enriching experience when you study English, by enrolling on an English Speaking Course at one of our Summer Schools. Each Summer School will not only provide plenty of opportunity for you to learn, grow and develop – it will give you the chance to take in the unique sights and sounds of some of the best student cities: Whether it be Manchester, Dublin or York.

Manchester Summer School

Our Manchester Summer School is located at the University of Salford, and will offer a creative combination of learning English, alongside our Media & Production programme.

Manchester boasts the biggest student population in Europe, which is why you’ll be ideally placed at a centre of learning and development within the largest student friendly city. You’ll enjoy English lessons here, whilst experiencing exciting excursions to numerous iconic landmarks and locations – from the The Etihad stadium to the shopping mecca that is the Trafford Centre.

Whether you choose a homestay with a British family, or residential accommodation, you’ll thrive amongst students from all over the world – whilst enjoying all the state-of-the-art facilities at our Manchester Summer School.

Dublin Summer School

Study English whilst soaking up all the Irish culture you can handle, by choosing our Dublin Summer School.

You’ll be placed in a picturesque seaside town, at St. Benildus College, in Dún Laoghaire – with the benefit of being a stone’s throw away from the city centre. The Summer School schedule will feature a feast of Irish cultural activities and events, to complement your English learning. Visit the likes of the Botanic Gardens one day, whilst taking part in a traditional Irish Sports Day the next.

Stay with a local host, enjoy a full board meal plan, and make use of the highest quality facilities – as you take in our extensive Irish experience, that’s tailored for you at our Dublin Summer School.

York Summer School

By enrolling on our English language course at our York Summer School – you’ll get to fully immerse yourself with traditional British culture whilst you study.

The school at the Queen Ethelburga’s College is ready and waiting to give you an authentic British experience like no other. As well as boasting fantastic facilities to help you learn, the school schedule is packed with enriching activities for you to take part in, many of which are centred around York’s rich heritage.       

Our British Cultural Experience programme will enhance your learning experience, whilst also giving you the chance to see the sites, from a walk down The Shambles, to exploring ancient Nordic history at Jorvik. Spectacular shared accommodation and fully equipped classrooms await you at our York Summer School.
