What do you like the most about your work?

I get to meet students on the first day and learn their goals for the future then get updates from all the teachers on how close the students are to realising their dreams

On a typical day, what is the first thing that you do in the morning?

Say good morning to the teachers and reception staff who come in very early

What is your ambition?

That by the time I have retired I will have helped 50,000 learners improve their English and life whether by teaching or running the school

Can you describe the atmosphere of NCG in one word?

Caring

What has been your best experience since working at NCG?

At the end of a course seeing a class of students and their teacher so happy to have been in the school together and so sad they were leaving that they were all laughing and crying at the same time

Why is NCG the best place to study in the whole wide world?

Every single member of staff really cares about the students and works incredibly hard for them.

Something that we didn’t know?

My ancestor was the nephew of the only High King of Ireland.
